If you're looking for a therapist who believes healing can include both meaningful conversations and a little laughter, you've come to the right place.
Welcome.
Lily Williams
MS, NCC, LPC
Psychotherapist, Licensed School Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor
Lily graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Masters Degree in Counseling in 2023. Alongside her degree, she received specialized training in Grief, Trauma, and Loss, as well as Psychological First Aid and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Since starting her practice, Lily has worked with individuals of all ages with a wide range of strengths and challenges. However, she primarily works with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and the overwhelming feeling of trying to have everything figured out. She knows that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so her goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, relaxed, and free from judgment.
Above all, Lily values authenticity. She believes therapy works best when clients feel comfortable enough to be themselves, ask questions, laugh when it feels right, and know they don't have to have the "perfect" words.
When she's not meeting with clients, Lily can usually be found spending time with her therapy dog-in-training, Birdie, watching scary movies, or baking something sweet. She believes that taking care of your mental health doesn't mean giving up the things that bring you joy—it means making room for both growth and the little moments that make life feel lighter.
Her approach is collaborative, genuine, and tailored to each individual. Some sessions might focus on learning practical coping skills through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while others may involve processing emotions, exploring patterns, celebrating progress, or simply having a place where you don't have to pretend everything is okay.
